Urgent Equipment of Production Manager for Sec- 16 (Noida) Location manufacturing Industry. \'Please do not apply if you do not have the experience in Manufacturing / Automobile Manufacturing industry\' : Designation:- Production Manager Location :- Sec- 16 (Noida) Salary :- As per industry Position: Principal Duties and Responsibilities General Job Specific Responsibilities New Product Introduction (NPI) 1. Manufacturing representative on the NPI development and implementation team 2. Support and attend DFMEA and Design review activities to continually strive for DFM 3. Create build sequence and Standard Operating Procedures on prototype product 4. Generate corrective action reports from prototype builds 5. Close out corrective actions through the design process 6. Follow the PFMEA process to develop manufacturing solutions and maintain company RPN standard of 100 or below 7. Continue to develop the standard processes by introducing lean techniques such as poke-yoke, standardise work, SMED, line balance and waste elimination Production Support 1. Support the Company \'Customer Response Team\' policy by participating in the weekly reviews to ensure the Company target of 8D closure within 7 days or less is met. 2. Support the Company\'s 5S programme 3. Lead and support lean activities such as waste elimination, productivity improvement and standardized work 4. Compile Standard Operating Procedures with the assistance and input from Assembly Operators 5. Identify and agree improvement actions Team Development 1. Set individual performance goals and targets 2. Ensure team activities align with Business Objectives 3. Review performance on a frequent basis and provide leadership to support improvement 4. Identify any skill gaps and provide mentoring if required 5. Pro-actively manage absence and performance issues if required 6. Allocate NPI programmes and monitor key introduction dates 7. Ensure the deployment of departmental objectives are met Role Requirements Education 1. Minimum - Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical /Production/Automobile Experience 2. Must have minimum of 8 years relevant experience with similar manufacturing background Knowledge 3. Continuous improvement and lean techniques 4. Fully conversant with office packages e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project 5. Key Attributes People management Organisational skills 1. Project management skills 2.
