EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Supporting the development and execution of the HANA Cloud migration and adoption strategies across solution areas.
• Creating sample programs for new and upcoming technology as well as writing technical assets and whitepapers for internal and external audiences
• Participate in internal SAP field readiness, customer and partner enablement webinars on HANA Cloud migration and adoption topics.
• Administering feedback gathering programs, responding to queries from customers/partners and monitoring online communities
• Collaborate with HANA Cloud product management and engineering teams and support customers/partners in addressing high priority customer incidents relating to HANA Cloud migrations.
• Tracking and reporting on HANA Cloud migrations and adoption across cloud to cloud & on-premises to cloud migration use cases.

• 5+ years in product-related roles in the Database, Data Management or Analytics space, focusing on solutions like SAP HANA, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP BW, SAP Data Intelligence, SAP Analytics Cloud or SAP BusinessObjects
• 5+ years in Customer-facing roles

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

• The SAP HANA & Databases Product Management Organisation is a global Organisation dedicated to delivering database technology and data management products and solutions that addresses customers’ unique and competitive business requirements.
• SAP Database Migration Factory team under SAP HANA & Database Product Management organisation is responsible for global SAP HANA Cloud migration and adoption (cloud to cloud & on-premises to cloud).
• This includes building and executing global programs for HANA Cloud adoption, building database migration assets/content, SAP internal field, external customer and partner readiness/enablement, acting as bridge between HANA Cloud migration service (automation tool) engineering and HANA Cloud product teams and external customers to share learnings and feedback to improve overall experience on HANA Cloud migration and adoption.
• Database Migration Factory team collaborates with cross product management, solutions management, engineering, marketing, pre-sales, COE and GPO team and drive database migration and adoption activities. We also manage a virtual team of developers and architects from different SI partners that work as SAP’s own extended teams.
• Thousands of customers run managed databases on SAP’s industry leading cloud computing platform. As an SAP Database Migration & adoption Product Specialist within the Database Migration Factory team, you would be able to shape the future of the SAP HANA Cloud migrations and further establish SAP as the leader in the cloud computing space.
