About the role - Product Specialist:
A fantastic new opportunity has arisen to be part of a key strategic OEC global product team.
As a product specialist in our Fleet business, you'll play a vital role in collaborating with customers, technology and data teams to deliver high value differentiated SaaS solutions for our global users.
As the product expert you'll fully understand user requirements to provide data driven insights which improve user experiences and drive product revenues.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• You will be obsessed in understanding our customers, our marketplace and be resourceful and data driven in initiating research and gathering data to which will accurately predict roadmap priorities, identify new revenue opportunities and deliver market insights
• You will have a deep understanding of our applications, our users and their workflows. You will have a skill for understanding technical complex information about our product and its ecosystem.
• You will be excellent in interacting with customers, users, and stakeholders up to C-Level across all mediums
• You will be relentless in monitoring and providing metrics and insights for all aspects of the product lifecycle including measuring new feature rollouts to marketing campaigns.
• You will love technology and be curious in seeking new opportunities to deliver differentiated vital products
• You love collaboration and will assist, guide, and educate internal teams successfully to succeed.
• A flare for sales and marketing to ensure campaigns are designed and executed successfully to meet revenue targets.
• You've got experience with agile software development and can provide vision and direction to the development team and stakeholders as a key stakeholder in scrum ceremonies.
• You are not only evangelical about our product strategy but can distill that down to finite detail to write and prioritize epics and user stories and convey requirements to application and data development teams.
• Responsible for planning, coordinating, communicating the successfully execution of OEC's software release management process in delivering new software to our customers. This includes managing and controlling internal resources to deliver releases according to a detailed plan and provide timely and proactive customer communications.
• Takes lead role in addressing any high priority support tickets and ensures any critical tickets will be organized and reviewed by the development team in accordance with customer service level agreements. Will manage the release of bug fixes in a controlled and organized way.
• Acts as a liaison for our customers and responsible for ensuring alignment on all new feature request and requirements from users through detailed documentation and use of other tools and techniques.

Ideal Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, business management or related disciplines.
• In the absence of a degree or specific qualifications directly related job experience (2+) working as a business analysist, product specialist or product may offset the degree requirement.
• Experience of working in Automotive software solutions and an understanding of OEM data and the Fleet and Lease market is highly desirable.
• Experience in building partnerships and in delivering measurable results.
• Technical aptitude (can understand technical ideas when explained and can communicate technical ideas at least at a high level with confidence)
• Ideally you will hold professional scrum product owner (PSPO) and/or as a certified scrum product owner (CSPO) qualification.
• Fast Learner (Grows in subject matter expertise quickly by understanding of who to go to for answers, the level of detail needed in the role, and connecting the dots from discussions with teams and customers)
• Clear communication (succinct communication that avoid disconnects across levels in the organization, functions in the organization, and with external companies)
