Position : Crop Lead- Paddy & Wheat Location : Coimbatore Industry : Agriculture Seeds and Crop Science Qualification: Master\'s in Agronomy, Plant Breeding, or a related field. Experience : 12+ years in Product Portfolio Management, Product Positioning, Crop development Position Overview: As a Crop Lead in the organization , you will develop and communicate a compelling product roadmap, manage budgets, and ensures timely product delivery. You play a crucial role in fostering innovation, staying abreast of industry trends, and maintaining a deep understanding of customer needs to drive the success of seed products in the market. Key Responsibilities: Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities in the seed industry. Analyze market data to identify opportunities for new products or improvements to existing ones. Product Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive product strategies that align with overall business goals. Define product positioning, unique selling propositions, and target customer profiles for each seed product. Go-to-Market Planning: Create and execute go-to-market plans for new seed products, including product launches, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product launches. Marketing Collateral: Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including product brochures, presentations, and digital content. Work with creative teams to develop compelling and effective messaging for seed products. Sales Enablement: Provide sales teams with the necessary tools and training to effectively sell seed products. Collaborate with sales to gather feedback and insights from the field. Brand Management: Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all marketing channels. Protect and enhance the company\'s brand image in the seed industry. Customer Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to engage and build relationships with customers. Gather feedback from customers to inform product improvements and innovations. Market Communication: Develop and execute communication plans to raise awareness of seed products through various channels, including digital marketing, trade shows, and industry events. Preferred candidate profile Master\'s in Agronomy, Plant Breeding, or a related field. An experience of 12+ years in Product Portfolio Management, Product Positioning, Crop development Proven experience in product management, with a focus on marketing, preferably in the seed or agricultural industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and make informed decisions. Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
