Job Summary

As a Product Owner you are responsible for partnering with the Product Management team to ensure new and existing products are accurately represented in the Sales Quote Tool, on all web sites, in published price lists and updates are delivered on time. You will provide strategic leadership and innovative approaches to problem solving, while maintaining a detail oriented outlook. Your ability to understand the current IT environment, with an emphasis on the Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) approach product ownership role, while possessing a depth of product knowledge allowing you to define solutions fitting into NetApp\'s manufacturing and sales processes.

Essential Functions:

  • Own the creation, grooming, management and testing of user stories and manage quality.
  • Generate marketing part numbers and PCN/ECNs via Agile and Oracle and be responsible for part number life cycle management.
  • Generate bill of material structures in Agile and Oracle.
  • Program manage cross-functional teams to ensure corporate wide requirements are met.
  • Participate in the new products phase review and product structure release review processes from Phase 2 through product end of life.
  • Web Content Oversight; including but not limited to: Product Bulletins, EOA notifications and price notifications.
  • Provide Product Management with pricing support for the price review committee and price action reviews.
  • Price and Part Attribute Table data integrity and updating.
  • Complete pcm team cross training and provide back up support as assigned.
  • Support and/or manage marketing collateral creation, posting and distribution processes to adhere to Corporate guidelines.
  • Manage special projects as assigned and deliver results on time.
  • Provide Quote Tool Level 3 Helpdesk escalation support as needed.
  • Assist with trouble shooting sales order and work order fall out issues.
  • Support the Pricing Administrator as needed
  • Working knowledge of SaaS principles: Quoting, Subscription Management, Billing and Revenue Recognition.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; presentation, customer service, business, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas.
  • Effective leadership skills needed in order to manage cross-functional teams successfully.
  • Agile and/or Oracle bill of material experience; implements Agile/Oracle life cycle management processes independently.
  • Ability to utilize Price and Part Attribute updating processes to ensure Sarbanes Oxley compliance.

  • The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert.
  • To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favorable results through regular leadership and influencing others.
Education
  • 8 to 14 years of experience is preferred.
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree is required, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex technical projects
