The Markets Client Portal Team seeks a candidate who will be part of the core Product delivery team that is currently going through an exciting digital transformation program. The Product Owner is responsible for providing the vision for the team, setting priorities, owning the backlog and refining acceptance criteria.

As a Product Owner at JPMorgan Chase in the Corporate & Investment Banking\'s Research & Analytics team you will set the priorities for the team, partnering with their assigned Product Manager, ensuring stakeholder requests are understood in a timely manner and once prioritized, positioned to be implemented by engineers with precision and absolute clarity.

You will work in Mumbai, in a predominantly co-located agile team responsible for all aspects of software delivery. Job responsibilities

• Works very closely with Product Management understanding vision and strategy for next quarter
• Works closely with the Engineering Lead to understand engineering roadmap
• Ensures business value is clear with common and agreed measures of success
• Defines and agrees MVP with the Product Manager, this is not just functional requirements, but also how the product will be tested, measured, monitored and supported
• Initial engagement with Pilot Users to agree scope and success criteria of the pilot are defined
• Owns the \'Definition of Done\' needs to evaluate if we can deliver sufficient additional value, compared to other items on the backlog and ultimately accepts completed user stories
• Owns resolution of daily scope/product requirements blockers for the delivery team
• Regular Demo\'s to users to ensure Product is understood and meets initial/ongoing objectives
• In partnership with the Product Managers ensure that sufficient training and/or training materials are available for a successful Product launch
• Obsess over metrics, are we meeting the success criteria, if not, understand why and ascertain a path to success
• Accountable to the Delivery Lead and focus on the Portfolio delivery plan

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Minimum of 4+ years as a Product Owner
• Excellent written/verbal communication and presentations skills targeting various stakeholders and senior management
• Experience coaching teams through agile practices and new ways of working
• Proven experience and understanding of the software delivery life cycle
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal and influencing skills
• A driving mindset and positive attitude in the face of many challenging deliveries
• Experience working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups
• Ability to develop strong partnerships across lines of business to achieve goals
• Proven ability to achieve quality results in a high-pressure, rapidly changing environment requiring flexibility / adaptability to changeable directives
• Tool experience: JIRA, Lucidspark and Confluence

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Having any of the Certification CSM/ PSM/SAFe is an added advantage
• Understanding and ability to coach/train fundamental Agile principles and techniques
• Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques (example: Scrum, Kanban, XP, DevOps, story mapping, example mapping, transformation plans, operating models, scaled agile frameworks)
• Digital Marketing/agency experience building content management, email distribution systems, personalization, targeting and recommendation engine experience
• Experience working with both Software Engineers and Data Scientists
• Overall understanding of Java, Spring-Boot and React technologies used by software development teams
