JOB DESCRIPTION
You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in Product Owner. You have found the right team. As a Product Owner in our Finance team you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm. The Firmwide Finance Business Architecture team (FFBA) is accountable for leading large-scale data, infrastructure, accounting standard and business process change management events and the Chief Data Office for Finance and TCIO. The team also provides a centralized program management and business analysis capability, targeted program governance, and consistent application of program management standards including system testing and change management practices, with a current focus on overseeing change within General Ledger in support of S4 HANA upgrade & Data insight regulatory reporting projects. In this role, you will work on the GL Inbounds, Outbounds and Regulatory Product Owner team and manage the delivery of medium scale infrastructure programs and business process change management events to ensure accurate, complete and consistent data is readily available for both internal financial reporting and external regulatory reporting purposes. Job responsibilities
  • Drive end-to-end project strategy discussions, develop and deliver plans for successful project delivery of Firmwide and Line of Business (LOB) change events impacting all GL upstream/downstream applications
  • Identify and drive solutions for business process re-engineering activities, along with creating supporting documentation and end user operational experience
  • Provide oversight of the release plan inclusive of project or release scope, critical milestones, sourcing requirements, test strategy and execution and implementation checklists and stakeholder / technology activities
  • Gather and document business/data requirement documents
  • Coordinate JIRA grooming, tests execution and Issue Resolutions
  • Influence and communicate with LOB, corporate teams (business, operations, technology)
  • Facilitate resolution of data quality issues and lead working groups to progress issues
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with 3 years of program and /or project management experience
  • Proven background in Project management/data analysis in General Ledger, Finance, Risk or Reference Data Functions
  • Experience in delivering complex programs and building strong relationships with variety of LOB, technology teams
  • Excellent communication and presentations, analytical skills across various LOB stakeholders
  • Knowledge of end to end controls framework, processes, methodologies & technology platforms
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Understanding of Financial and/or Regulatory reporting processes; understanding of dataflow architecture and related technology is a plus
  • Experience with Agile delivery, JIRA, Alteryx and SQL tool plus
