Position Product Manager - Marketing - Retail

Job Location - Bangalore

1. Scope of the role

- Responsible for product management & marketing operations

2. Job Profile

- Product management - work closely with & driving the design team & NPD team on new product introductions, ensuring product costing is within requirements, understanding product performance across channel, pricing, range-width management & anchoring the PMR exercise

- Market visibility - innovative VM & POS material for new collection launches, improving display standards across channels through new developments.

- Product availability - supply at national level against plan & sales forecast - collaboratively with SCM team. Distribution strategy for new products.

3. Key Deliverables

- Adherence of new product delivery with NPD/ design team as per schedule

- Ensuring product gross margins for respective product clusters

- Achieving secondary sales target for respective product clusters

- Ensuring appropriate product mix availability to markets

- Driving new retail display systems

4. The right person

- Graduate in any discipline with MBA in Marketing

- With at least 5-6 years work experience (sales & marketing) in the lifestyle or consumer goods industry. At least 2-3 years experience in field sales will be an added advantage.

- Strong product knowledge & sense for aesthetics

- An idea's person

- Should be good with analyzing numbers

- Should like to travel into markets & work closely with sales team / retailers in the field.

- Attitudinal fit with the youth category/brand & enthusiasm & drive - experience in this --segment will an added advantage

- Should be capable of independently taking over the product management
