Role: Product Marketing Manager - HD

Division: ETB

Function: ETB - S&M - Heavy Duty - Truck - Marketing - HQ

Reporting into: VP - HD Marketing

Level: SM/ DGM

Purpose of the Role

Provides necessary Strategic & Tactical Marketing Support, target price realization and market share in select/ target segments within the purview of the VECV policies and procedures.

Span of Control

Direct reportees: 5 - 6
Indirect reportees: 0

Education

  • BE/Btech, MBA
Experience
  • 10-12 years of relevant experience
Business Understanding
  • Understanding of the CV business, Customer business models, Competiton Intelligence, Cross-functional collaboration, etc.
Area of Responsibility

Increasing market penetration for Pro 3016, 8X2 & 10X2 and Tractors and driving segment/geography linked marketing initiatives to achieve desired volumes and MS

Increasing market penetration for defined Product Range and driving segment/geography linked marketing initiatives to achieve desired volumes and MS.Product Volumes and MS.Effective planning and driving key marketing initiatives linked to overall strategy-Product/segment/geographical (e.g. market-specific campaigns, special schemes, market mapping, segment-specific, special geographical projects, etc.), GTM strategy with revised GVW Trucks including readiness, product introductions/meets (e.g. Location, STA/CCOE approval, etc.)

Strategic initiatives such as Building Eicher brand in HD, Support in driving sales quality, Drive key business process & Strategic Business plan and Price Management

Establish and promote Value Truck range for long term sustenance, Scale-up Print, PR and Digital Campaigns, Take up Stakeholders engagement initiatives including Drivers, Bodybuilders, etc. Develop best in class selling tools for Haulage (e.g. segment-wise sales pitch, key videos, brochures, testimonials, VLP & profiling formats, etc.), Build content and train various teams. Strategic business plan for Haulage including Volumes, Budgets and its effectiveness.Strategic price positioning/revisions based on opportunities/Market dynamics for better price realization.

BSVI Strategy & Readiness

Finalization of Product plan and Pricing in collaboration with PSP.Customer Clinic, Deployment, and Validation.Positioning, Introduction and GTM Plan.Communication and Training Content & STA/CCOE.

BSVI Introduction & Activations

Finalize and deploy Communication plans and elements in collaboration with Brand. Prepare the Frontline team and make them Ready in handling the BSVI range. Range Introduction and Launch. Prepare and execute the Activation plan.
