About the role: Our Telstra Colocation Portfolio addresses customers hosting needs with geographically diverse data centres operating in 14 countries and territories across Asia, Australia, US and Europe and comply with International data centre standards. As a Senior Product Management Specialist, you use your very extensive incubation and product commercialisation experience, from across multiple product portfolios and domains to deliver against the following responsibilities: Key accountabilities:

  • Contribute deep product, segment and technical expertise to run the Telstra colocation portfolio
  • Focus on lifecycle strategy across all relevant segment channels, and improve the product performance and optimising profitability
  • Contribute to define and execute product vision, strategy and roadmap to achieve the strategic goals for the portfolio
  • Collaborate within the product team and across the value chain to create a superior end-to-end customer experience across the product lifecycle
  • Participate in major sales activities, including product and services training, customers escalations and support for key bids
  • Identify new geographies and services to launch to cater to market demand and drive growth
  • Work cross functionally with Product Marketing, Sales Teams and Partners to create sales campaigns to drive uptake of products and services and improve EBITDA
  • Participate and embrace the agile ways of working mindsets and practices for the team
About you: To be successful in this role, you need to have the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business & Commerce or Computer Engineering
  • 5+ years’ experience in telecommunications/tech industry within data centre operations, product management, solution selling or customer management
  • Strong understanding of product management; product lifecycle, vendor management, product roadmaps, process enhancements, business strategy, launching new/exiting old products and services
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and comfortable with engaging at senior levels across international markets, such as APJC, EMEA, US
  • Understanding of Cloud and Data Centre market trends
  • The ability to leverage and build on existing products and services and innovatively resell these to the market
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to calculate and articulate ROI of products
  • Thrives in ambiguity
  • Agile ways of working experience
  • Experience with digital transformation
