About the role:
It is an exciting opportunity to work with global team to act as backbone of all automation and simplification of the existing processes using Power Query, Power BI, latest Automation techniques.
- Timely retrieval of data across finance & non-finance systems for Property and Casualty (P&C) and for Life & Health (L&H) Divisions.
- Expand the usage and knowledge of Power BI platform, Power Query and Stargate within the team.
- Visual presentation & analysis of data to ensure team continues to push for improved ways to disseminate reporting & analysis to all interested stakeholders across globe.
- Build, user friendly, Interactive & visually appealing self-reporting platforms
- Automation of reconciliations and extraction of reports
Global Re (Insurance) Accounting and Reporting team provides accounting and reporting services for Property and Casualty (P&C) and Life and Health (L&H) segments for IFRS, sUS GAAP and EVM Basis.
About you:
- Candidate interested in this role, should have a deep knowledge on Microsoft Power Tools or Object oriented programming language or Advanced Excel skills or Robotic Process Automation to transform the data.
- Certification in data analytics / automation (Knowledge of finance domain shall be an added advantage).
- We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about transforming large voluminous data into meaningful information to facilitate decision making by various stakeholders.
- Develop a deep understanding on SR data platform to retrieve required data from various sources (by using SQL or other data transformation)
