Under close supervision, assists in feasibility studies and implementing process or manufacturing improvements. Prepares basic analysis regarding overall quality and cost effectiveness. Creates necessary documentation and aides in communication to personnel. Learning role with 5 to 7 years of experience.

Overview:

• Work closely with CFT team ( Production, Quality , SCM ) and improve existing process in Productivity improvement , Quality improvement.

Responsibilities: -

A] For Running / Established process:

• Continuously monitor the process to identify improvement opportunities for defect reduction
• Identify productivity improvements in the processes and implement with timebound action plan
• Identify and implement manpower optimization plans where , Person dependent , Skill dependent and more man-days required to perform the activity
• Work on plant layout modifications to ensure single piece flow and minimal movement of men & material
• Conduct process capability studies, identify, and implement corrective actions to improve process capability

• Participate in process audits along with QA team and improve further
• Work on automation concepts in all process and implement in appropriate time
• Performing process simulations and troubleshooting issues
• Developing standardized operating instructions for the process upgrade

B] General:

• Participate in VAVE initiatives and projects and meet the target.
• Review and develop SOPs and train production personnel on the same
• Review the PFMEA and control plan at determined frequency and modify / upgrade when necessary
• Installation, commissioning of machines / production lines
• Drive Lean tools implementation with the vision of Lean by 2023.
• Work for process safety enhancement by identifying safety risks
• Identify 8 wastes and working towards elimination
• Work on Technology transfer projects and implement as per project timeline
• Prepare process engineering function metrics and monitor on monthly basis.
