Level: Staff/ Senior Staff/ Principal, Multiple Openings Locations: Pune, Bangalore & San Francisco Bay Area Position: Full time with immediate start Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in post-silicon validation in the areas of CPU and SoC
• Hands-on experience with bring-up and validation of the following:
• CPU Fmax, frequency characterization etc.
• High-speed system peripherals including PCIe Gen 4/5, DDR4/DDR5, LPDDR4x, JEDEC compliance testing, PCIe compliance testing etc.
• Low-speed SoC peripherals including i2c, SPI, UART, GPIOs, voltage regulators, EEPROMs, flash devices etc.
• SoC power management, control and power measurements including leakage, standby, dynamic, Turbo mode support, DVFS etc.
• JTAG based debuggers like OpenOCD and such
• Experience with programming in C/C++, writing validation test cases for various SoC peripherals, Linux shell scripting, Linux applications and tools, bootloaders (preferably U-Boot), UEFI BIOS experience and low-level embedded firmware development
• Hands-on experience building a validation lab with test benches, power, internet, test equipment and more
• Hands-on experience with board bring-up, hardware and software debugging experience and BSP delivery
• Bench automation, PVT, and volume characterization to improve product quality, analyze test results and identify potential issues, debug and root cause any silicon issues to improve quality and performance of circuits, hard and soft IPs
• Familiarity with Linux kernel internals, device drivers for multi-core SoCs, Linux networking, PCIe sub-systems, Linux distros like Ubuntu and more
• Ability to work independently and across geographies with software, hardware, and product management teams
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills and good English communications skills, both verbal and writing
• Bachelors or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science or related engineering fields

Desirable Skills & Qualifications:

• Good understanding of CPU architecture, ARM or X86
• Experience with characterization of high-speed and low-speed SoC interfaces
• Knowledge of FPGA based prototype platforms, using high speed test probes, PCIe analyzers and testers, DDR probes etc.
• Knowledge of Linux power management, Linux Reliability-Availability-Serviceability (RAS) framework, Linux Storage stack
• Experience working in multi-core, multi-process/thread environment
