: Job summary As a Principal Technical Program Manager in Appstore, you will work with various engineering, business and operations teams to define, prioritize, and deliver large programs end-to-end. You look around the corners, have an end-to-end view, figure out endemic challenges and bottlenecks which slow down delivery, and influence the fixing of these. This will also cut across various domains - client engineering, distributed systems, financial systems, ingestion and publishing systems. Our ideal candidate will have a deep well-rounded technical background in current software and/or hardware disciplines, mastery of software fundamentals, and be willing to effectively challenge technical system designs and drive engineering decisions to drive the right developer and customer experience. Location for this role is flexible. It would be preferable to be based in any US or Indian timezone. Key job responsibilities Your responsibilities will include ownership of driving programs spanning multiple global teams, improving process, managing schedules from design to release, escalation management, influencing stakeholders. You will be making appropriate trade-offs to optimize for quality and time-to-market, clearly communicating goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to multiple internal and external cross-functional and remote project teams. Basic Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Technical program management experience Excellent oral and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications : Experience driving roadmap strategy and definition Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience defining and championing best practices across a software team.
