· 8+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology · Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product · Bachelor's Degree in technical field (CS, CompEng, Maths, Electrical Eng etc.) · Experience with end to end product delivery · Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product · Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition · 5+ Product Management or equivalent experience in the tech industry · Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent professional experience · The ability to persuade and influence others using verbal and written communication techniques · Strong quantitative data analysis and critical thinking skills · Demonstrated ability to work independently to drive projects to completion

Key job responsibilities
This Principal, Product Manager-Technical (PMT) is a key individual contributor role in the Selling Partner Experience Tech team, and will own the design, definition, implementation & adoption of key growth leavers for selling partners.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Identify new opportunities via user research, secondary data analysis and customer anecdotes; Write product documents and ensure clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business, design and development teams.
2. Build a product road map, and manage prioritization and trade-offs against developer experience, customer experience, and time to market.
3. Collaborate with product & technical teams across Amazon to bring these new experiences to life.
4. Work closely with a dedicated tech team, to anticipate complex technical challenges & work with the TPM (Technical program manager) to define elegant solutions to unblock the team
5. Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members

• Engineering degree or Masters of Business Administration
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality
• Good at basic statistics & A/B testing methodologies. Even better if you've worked with Data Science teams to develop models
