Job summary

What you'll do

As a part of the organization as Principal Software Developer, this person would be responsible for development, maintenance and end-user support for identified software tools & integrated solutions including but not limited to JIRA Software, JIRA add-ons (Tempo, Enhancer), Gitlab, Test link, internal tools & solutions etc.

The position is responsible for,

• Maintaining and improving system architecture for efficient use
• Design, develop and maintain optimal solutions for integration between tools in accordance with identified needs
• Developing automation scripts as required for data storage, retrieval etc.
• Managing tools setup and upgrades
• Administration and end-user support for deployed tools & solutions
• Creating and maintaining all related documentation
• Working with third-party vendors and consultants on developing system-specific skills

Additional responsibilities include imparting tool usage training to R&D teams and facilitating data extraction and analysis as required for reporting needs.

What we're looking for

Technical skills

• Excellent knowledge of relational database (MS SQL Server) and database design.
• Proven ability to design integrated solutions and user interface design.
• Programming / scripting expertise using technologies such as

, Perl, PHP, design and writing SQL scripts, stored procedures, etc. * Excellent knowledge of DevExpress Suite.

• Problem solving skills - troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software tools, partners with the IT team for problem resolution
• Ability to train and guide people across geographies.

Required aptitudes

• Knowledge of networking concepts
• Knowledge of MS SharePoint development / customization would be an added advantage
• Windows System Administration skills
• Knowledge of Gitlab
• Knowledge of JIRA Software

Must have

Pertinent experience: 10+ years' hands-on experience in related technologies

Education: BE/B Tech (Bachelor's degree in engineering in Electronics & Telecom will be preferred)
