Purpose-built for modern workloads in distributed cloud environments (hybrid, multi and edge), The enterprise Kubernetes platform gives infrastructure Architects, IT Operations and applications owners the performance, simplicity, efficiency, and enterprise-class features, they need to run Kubernetes at scale in production.As a Principal Software Developer and part of this world-class team, you will be working on the next generation of products and enhancements including, but not limited to, multi-cluster and distributed cloud integration, distributed policy enforcement, cutting-edge networking and storage features targeted towards private/public cloud infrastructure.The ideal candidate should be excited by this new technology, love the start-up environment and have a demonstrated history architecting, designing and developing hyperscale storage features and protocols.What will you do:Accountable to design, build and release next generation storage product features for a hyper converged infrastructure stack, while mentoring, motivating and guiding a global engineering workforcea Define and refine storage architecture standards to support the product vision and roadmap to enable customers achieve hyperscale performance, robustness and security in their distributed cloud environmentsa Partner with service providers and storage hardware/software vendors to define solution configurations that leverage latest capabilities and provide scalable, secure and reliable operations.a Collaborate with other architects to provide integrated storage solutions for managing "data at restaEUR and "data in motionaEUR that are encountered in typical distributed cloud environments and software defined data-centersa Identify reoccurring incidents and find solutions by leading support groups through root cause analysis sessions, major incident review, trending, elimination of known errors, problem ticket follows through, etc.a Troubleshoot complex storage performance issues with other HCI engineers to identify root cause and recommend solutions.Required Skills and Experience:A 8+ years of experience with progressive growth from being a hands-on storage engineer to presently Designing/developing/architecting storage features/protocolsA Strong programming skills, must be proficient in one of C/C++, GolangA Clustered and Distributed storage management, Backup, Snapshot, iSCSI/NFS/NVMe/SANA Experience building and maintaining distributed applications and microservices using the popular cloud stack i.e., Kubernetes, Containers, public cloud environments (ex: AWS, Azure, GCP)A Proven track record for driving some of these technologies from concept to production, leading a team, interacting with various open-source communities.A Strong communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills; ability to draw clarity out of complex and ever-changing environmentsA Demonstrated technical background; an engineer at heart with an innate desire to make an impactA Most importantly, passionate about software!Job Type: Contractual / TemporaryPay: a,11,923.10 - a,42,592.30 per monthBenefits:
