Job Description


16+ years of experience building on finance products Experience in building Product Costing and ICT Product Responsibilities include: Technical Configuration/Customization: Collaborate with third-party solution providers, staff, developers, and Core Technology/Platforms to customize and configure solutions that meet customer needs and ensure a seamless user experience. Ensure proper management and control of SAP design for ERP template integrity. Foster synergy across Finance modules. Data Protection: Acquire in-depth knowledge of company policies and processes related to safeguarding sensitive data. Governance & Product Assessment: Participate in technical governance and oversight of product development within a specific domain. Assist Solutions Architect in evaluating technology solutions. Product Domain: Understand the technology perspective of the product domain and GA&D roadmap, and recognize the value added by technology. Quality, Risk & Compliance: Ensure compliance of all business-supporting products with internal security and risk management policies, external regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP, SARBOX), and establish Tech continuity plans for critical products. Change & Release Management: Efficiently manage change activities, including Software as a Service updates, to ensure compliant deployment into the production service. Integrations: Ensure efficient, accurate, and secure data exchange between upstream (e.g., Workday) and downstream systems (e.g., Global ERP) through integrations. Develop reporting capabilities for operational and analytical purposes. Process Improvement: Drive continuous product and technical improvements, utilizing appropriate delivery methodologies while prioritizing customer value. Technical Product Deliverables: Ensure timely completion of technical deliverables as defined by the Product Owner/GRC, and achieve technical aspects of the definition of done. Leading Teams: Lead teams of staff and third parties to deliver product enhancements and projects, ensuring successful deployment and value realization. Provide line management for staff and ensure quality delivery from strategic suppliers (SI) and contractors (CWs). Manage SI performance, milestones, targets, and resource allocation. Promote a mix of on-shore/off-shore resourcing and encourage reduced dependency on CWs in favor of strategic supplier staff. Operational Support: Oversee consultants involved in support activities, ensuring they fulfill responsibilities such as progress review, issue resolution, meeting SLAs, and maintaining system stability. Personally address support tickets, escalations, break-fix issues, and operational changes. Demonstrate ability to resolve complex issues, manage user relationships, and deliver results. Proactively seek opportunities to reduce support workload through supplier collaboration, issue identification, and proposing improvements. The Successful Applicant If you possess the following skills, we would like to have a conversation with you: Minimum 15 years of relevant experience (e.g., R&D, Commercial, Corporate, Manufacturing) in a prominent global Tech organization, with a degree. Proficiency in finance/configuration, intercompany accounting, intercompany profit elimination, accurate standard cost management, product costing, and setting/maintaining group costs and transfer prices. Comprehensive understanding of all finance modules, interfaces, and integration support. Demonstrated experience in implementing finance solutions in India. Proven track record in technical development, solution design, program and product delivery, and service management. Previous experience as a Technical Analyst and working with third parties in delivering functional products. Strong relationship management, influencing, and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of respective functional area, including business operating models, processes, and products. Familiarity with Agile Software Development, preferably with experience in Scrum, Kanban, and SAFE. Familiarity with Emergn VFQ is desirable. Alignment with GSK Values and Expectations. Expertise in SAP configuration, preferably with SAP certification in the relevant area. Typically involved in three end-to-end market/site implementation project lifecycles. Practical experience with global design and SAP solutions in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is desirable, but not necessary. Ability to plan and deliver work independently, following detailed plans and reporting metrics, achievements, and resolving impediments. Collaboration skills to drive successful delivery with third parties, including offshore work. Willingness to work UK shift timings.
