The Alexa International team is looking for an experienced Product Management Leader to drive the international scalability of Alexa's services and devices in all supported countries & all supported languages variants. We are seeking a Leader who loves bringing new experiences and products to life.

As a Principal Technical Product Manager, you will understand customer requirements and then be responsible for creating and driving product roadmaps and features. In this role you will work directly with Alexa developers, machine learning scientists, partners and customers to understand their needs and aspirations. You will create business requirements documents and develop a long term roadmap for tools, APIs and new primitives to simplify feature expansion process to international.

The Principal Technical Product Leader will own the end-to-end product management cycle, including establishing customer insights, building business requirements, and driving development through deployment. You will work with business leaders, scientists, engineers, and economists to deliver delightful customer experiences. You have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team-oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines.

About the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or higher with computer science or engineering
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in Product Management with 5+ years being in a consumer facing role
• Experience coordinating complex product development cycles and software development schedules
• Experience in mobile technology, web services and back-end application infrastructure
• Experience creating Software Development Kits (SDKs) and Developer Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)

• MBA or Master's Degree
• Experience with platforms and development tools
• Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
• History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
• Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop project business cases.
• Experience in consumer electronics product management
• Proven track-record of taking ownership and driving results
• Strong sense of brand and editorial voice; the ability to harmonize message across multiple channels and marketing vehicles
• Superior verbal and written communications skills with high attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications.
• Analytical acumen, and comfortable generating and evaluating various forecasts, metrics, and analyses
• Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with attention to detail and organizational skills
