Job summary
Alexa is hiring a Principal Product manager to define world-class voice experiences that impact millions of customers in India. In this role, you will create the product strategy, vision, and execution for Alexa experiences, creatively approaching some of the toughest business and AI challenges in the space with a high level of autonomy.

The ideal candidate will be go-getter, highly self-motivated individual who is customer obsessed and possesses strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities and a strategic mindset. The role will require the candidate to be comfortable in highly ambiguous situations, often in undefined and new areas where Alexa will define and lead the way customers use their voice to interface with technology, while taking big-bets and moving fast to deliver impactful experiences for customers.
Candidate must be a strong team player and have proven experience working with cross-functional teams. Prior experience in consumer internet space, financial services or applied AI is preferred.

As a Principal PM, you will develop long-term strategies to offer customer centric features and programs, and ensure quality customer experience and overall service. She or he will be comfortable marshaling large amounts of data to make decisions and build business cases. Create and implement a roadmap that ensures leadership in customer experience in each business category. Build complete and detail-oriented product requirements documents and ensure clear communication of those requirements to business, design, and development teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years of total professional experience, with 3+ years in Product Management having led at least 1 full product lifecycle (concept, prioritization, development, launch, in-market performance, end-of-life)

• Experience of launching products Experience in defining feature requirements, working with engineering organizations to rapidly deliver high-impact capabilities to market.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.

• Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Takes initiative. Doesn't wait to be asked.

• Consistent effort, intense commitment, high attention to detail and ability to independently manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability present complex information clearly and concisely.

• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners

• Bachelor's degree is required. An MBA is desirable.
