Requirements
Candidate will be required to lead end-to-end project deliveries to the client. She/he would be responsible for technical liaison with the client, Design document creation, project execution and delivery of the solution (Engineering/Training Simulations) to end user sites.
Skills & Qualifications
1. Candidate should have Bachelor/Master’s degree in chemical engineering from a reputed college/University.
2. Candidates must have strong Chemical Engineering fundamentals.
3. Should be proficient in implementation of Dynamic simulations (using commercial OTS software i.e. Dynsim UniSim etc.). This would include sound Process model development skills and DCS/ESD integration expertise.
4. Experience on Steady State Simulation tools (e.g. PROII/HYSYS) would be an added advantage.
5. Should have total of 10 to 12 years of experience out of which he/she should have hands on experience on dynamic simulations. Total Simulation experience as 5 plus years and at least 2 years in the capacity of a lead Engineer of the project.
For remaining experience, Hydrocarbon plant operations, Technical Services or Design experience will be considered relevant.
6. Good understanding of various refinery processes.
7. Working knowledge of functionality of DCS systems from multiple vendors
8. The candidate should possess an in-depth expertise of Process know how as well as the Engineering and automation technologies used in Process Industry.
9. Good problem solving, communication, interpersonal and team playing skills
10. The candidate should possess capabilities of leading consultative discussions with customers ranging from technical and operations (process experts).
11. Understanding of quality processes (CMMI, ISO etc) would be added advantage.
