Due to continuing company success and expansion plans, the Consulting Group - focusing on Strategy and Implementation - is seeking a Principal Consultant– Financial based in our India offices, to shape the next stage of growth within this well established location.

The incumbent will be working closely with the consulting group for building up Financial Model, Financial Analysis, Financial Benchmarking and Reporting.

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities

• 
  Deliver some tasks of the consulting projects
• Project manage financial modeling projects, if required
• Contribute to writing winning proposals
• Collaborate with consulting and market insight / industry teams
• Perform due diligence and financial analysis that leads to insights and also review the work performed by other team members
• Demonstrate thought leadership on financial aspects of growth partnership
• Complete high quality projects on time and within budget
• Deadlines and timelines should be adhered to, and also taking ownership of individual deliverables within the specified timelines

Typical activities will cover [sample list]

• 
  Build client focused integrated Financial Model from scratch based on consensus and proprietary estimates, incorporating historical and forecasting data for Income statement, Cash flow, Balance sheet and Production volume numbers
• Build user friendly financial models which require familiarity in Sensitivity Analysis and Macros along with the standardized Financial Metrics.
• Database-specific financial modeling requiring building/modifying/linking available financial models and customizing them based on the clients guidelines
• Creating and linking excel and database-specific formulae in the provided/new template, also populating historical financials to understand the clients operating/financial history
• Scenario modeling for business planning support
• Valuation and Financial due-diligence
• Provide support in amending working models, particularly in helping with streamlining and strengthening forecasts
• Perform Ratio Analysis and Transaction Analysis,
• Risk assessment and management models

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

• 
  12 to 18 Years of Experience in Financial Analysis
• PG in Finance or UG in Finance with advanced associated degree is Mandatory `
• MBA or Master’s Degree in business studies or associated fields preferred
• Business acumen and analytical ease
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Good understanding of finance and accounting
• Practical experience in financial modeling and financial due diligence would be a distinct plus
• Demonstrating personal qualities that include being strategic thinker, self-starter, fast-learner, visionary, pragmatic
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with complete fluency in spoken and written English
• Experience in an international environment will be appreciated, working with a multi-cultural team members based remotely
• Ability to work autonomously and also effectively in a team entourage
• Practical experience in business modeling and business planning
• Cross-industry professional experience preferred
