Job Title Pre-Sales Manager Key Responsibilities Discovery & customer engagement
Conduct discovery workshops with customers or prospects (technical & business value discovery)
Proactively analyze customer products and service requirements to propose potential product/process improvement areas
Develop relationships across customer organizations necessary to understand business strategy, requirements, challenges and decision processes to propose adapted IT solutions.
Understand the Amadeus strategy and vision and apply it to solution positioning & selling.
Scoping, Recommendation & creation of a personalized solution
Document end-to-end mapping of the customer\xe2\x80\x99s technical eco-system & flows
Leverage deep product knowledge to design innovative solutions addressing customer needs
Ensure required internal units (PMM, PM, R&D, Ops) are activated & aligned in the pre-sales phase as needed for solution design
Lead functional and technical scoping workshops in identifying and referencing any/all gaps and interfaces to be developed as part of the targeted solution.
Recommend solutions that optimize value for both the customer and Amadeus
Ensure alignment with CSM & Account Manager on what the customer needs
Presentation & Demo delivery
Produce and deliver customized solution-related presentations including product demonstrations, translating software features into benefits for solving customer business problems in order to maximize the customer\'s perception of solution value
Prepare & present personalized value proposition
Create and validate proof of concepts with customer and prospects if appropriate
Present and secure technical sign-off with customer
RFP/RFI engagements
Work alongside account management, PMM, PM, CSM and identified key stakeholders to analyse, develop and present customer proposals (RFP/RFI engagements)
Plan and manage all solution-oriented activities of bid projects.
Solution Delivery
Prepare & drive solution handover activities to delivery projects/implementation teams
Contribute to solution rollout projects as needed
Internal communication & alignment
Collaborate with Amadeus and market partner Account Managers & CSMs to identify & progress Business development opportunities through customer engagement, BRMs, pipeline reviews, market presentations & industry events.
Proactively engage with partner PreSales representative to drive improved pre-sales practices (methodologies, documentations etc.) with learnings from customers engagements, share best practices and post-mortem exercises
Interact between internal Amadeus stakeholders, market partners & customer senior management as required
Ideal Candidate
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Scientific, Computer or Business studies
Fluent Hindi and English speaking, professional level mandatory.
+10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a customer facing role, preferably consulting, sales or account management
+7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the Travel Technology industry: IT sales, consulting or GDS business
+5yrs experience in Online Travel IT Operations/ecosystem
Proven ability to understanding the business of the customer & effectively present ideas and communicate to variety of audiences (c-suite to travel consultant) that display value
Able to influence decisions and provide support as needed
Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously
Positive and collaborative attitude, willing to relate and work closely with others
