Domain: Design Engineer - Powertrain System ( Cooling) Domain: Design Engineer - Powertrain Cooling System - Cooling Hoses, Heat exchangers, Degas tanks, Swirl Pots, Plastic and Sheet Metal Components, Cooling Modules and Fan Shroud Assembly Key Responsibilities: As a part of PT Cooling system team, candidate will be working on components within cooling system. Should have a clear understanding of cooling system functioning and individual component dependencies. Responsible for designing components within the given package environment meeting predefined vehicle and performance requirements. Must have a good understanding of general package guidelines. Sound knowledge of Plastic and Sheet metal design guidelines and manufacturing processes is required. Should have an ability to conduct benchmarking studies and propose innovative solutions. Report to Lead Engineer/Team Lead and work on all aspects of deliveries as expected. Should be able to liase with multiple stakeholders and cross functional teams to arrive at design solutions. Desired Skills and Experience: Engineering degree with strong fundamentals and analytical skills. Automotive domain knowledge with working experience on cooling system commodities. Excellent CATIA V5 and CATIA V6 2D/3D skills. Exposure to PLM tools such as Teamcenter, Vismockup GD&T knowledge is a must. Proficiency in using MS tools such as SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
