Key responsibilities of the role will include: Design and Release of Power Electronic Parts across various Electrified Powertrain programmes Ensure robust timing plans are met to achieve Program milestones and targets (Quality, Cost, Functionality, Weight, and timing). Authoring, analysing and decomposing system and component level requirements for the selected architecture Maintaining requirement quality and traceability Ensure DFMEA, Design Rules, RMDV, Statement of Work process/documents are diligently and transparently implemented in the design condition at the appropriate design maturity gateways. Lead issue resolution (AIMS) and Change Management (WERS), processes to ensure that all changes are implemented robustly and support programme objectives. Supporting functional safety analysis Generating and maintaining MBSE Models for selected architecture Participating in design and quality reviews with internal / external suppliers and team.Skills, experience and qualifications: Essential: Master, bachelor's degree in electrical engineering Minimum 4 years of experience in complex power electronics high voltage systems Must have a working knowledge / experience in PE Components like OBC, Charger, EVSE, inverters, BMS Fundamental understanding on high voltage, high power converter topologies like PFC, PSFB, LLC, HB, FB, flyback, forward and uC, Analog Sensing, communication protocols, EMC Proficiency in requirements definition and requirements management tooling (DOORS or similar) Experience of model-based systems engineering tools and techniques (ideally Catia Magic Systems) Experience of requirement definition and management within a complex hardware / software or electronic project (ideally within the automotive sector). Understanding of systems engineering "V" lifecycle, working experience with ASPICE process Understanding of SysML/UML Modelling concepts Experience in Six Sigma, FMEA's, Problem Resolution Techniques e.g. 8D Excellent communication and presentation skills.
