Our mission is to inspire sustainable communities by the way solar is purchased and operated.We're an innovation focused company, and we recently built and successfully installed the first in-roof solar panel structure in Rajasthan. We have partnerships with the best companies in the world, be it for solar panels, inverters, or batteries.After successfully setting up solar panel installations, Ornate is now foraying into inverter design and manufacturing. For this project, we're now setting up our R&D division for inverter design.Ornate is looking for a Power Electronics Design Engineer who will be responsible for designing the power stages for the inverters, along with providing inputs / guiding control methodology development for inverter control.Requirements:

• M.Tech / Ph.D in power electronics with focus on inverters / motor controllers, or any other relevant applications
• Solid knowledge of Power Electronics Fundamentals, Power Switching Devices (MOSFET/ IGBT), Switched mode power supplies, Magnetics & Gate Driver Design
• Design of Power circuits which may include like Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost, Flyback, Forward, Half and Full bridge converter, Phase Shift Full-Bridge, Full-Bridge LLC Resonant, driver circuits, protections and various inverter technologies

• Thorough understanding of high voltage (HV) electronics design for AC and DC units (Voltages: 400V - 1200V, Current Up To 200A)

• Practical skills, such as soldering, PCB design, etc. are a must

• Familiar with various control loop designs (e.g. PI, PID, Feed forward etc)

• LC and LCL filter design

• Common and Differential mode EMI filter

• Experience with soft-switching and resonant topologies

• Experience in relevant or similar industries: motor drives, power supplies, etc.

• Experience with GaN and SiC power components

• Experience with EMI design and practical troubleshooting

• Knowledge of / experience with power electronics design simulations and control algorithm design on MATLAB is a plus

• Knowledge of relevant ISO / BIS standards is a plus
