The Role Responsibilities

Job Role

The role requires strategic thinking and planning and provide expertise throughout the entire product development life cycle with a strong sense of quality ownership making sure that quality is baked in from the start.

The Platform Lead will also take responsibility for ensuring all platform stability tasks meet quality criteria through proper planning and designing, quality assurance and issue tracking. Accountable for mitigating business risks through timely, precise execution and validation of infrastructural changes.

The person must work closely with development and Infra teams to create plans for Application code releases and monitoring.

Work under minimal supervision to carry out procedures and execute agreed changes to ensure that the application meets delivery timelines.

Lead the maintenance and support of Mosaic application and frameworks based on industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Assist in managing and coordinating production support deliverables and activities.
  • Manage and coordinate dependencies, risks, issues to ensure the successful delivery of the project across the environments using ADO.
  • Manage the communication channels and relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are sufficiently briefed.
  • Contribute to the management, monitoring and delivery of remediation action plans and outcomes where needed, in line with expectations / requirements.
  • Perform functional and technical Infrastructure review activities as per engagement in the project.
  • Identify the Automation opportunities and define the approach.
  • Identify test environment requirements and liaise (and coordinate) with teams.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and inspections of project deliverables and provide feedback.
  • Participate in project meetings to provide feedback and statistics of the project.
Process and Compliance
  • Good understanding and able to apply processes laid down within the team and / or standards as defined by project and SCB.
  • Comply with the software management practices and policies.
  • Provide technical expertise in Automation, Infra Methodologies, Admin Processes, Development best practises, Tools and Techniques across the teams.
  • Be an escalation point for all matters related to Infrastructural changes.
Customer and Service Focus
  • Responsive to customer and project needs, as well as managing customer expectations.
  • Establish a close working rapport with project team to understand issues and risks underlying the project.
  • Able to manage multiple projects whilst still ensuring process compliance and deliverables are adhere to.

  • Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor\'s / Master\'s degree - Field of Study (Mathematics / Statistics / Quantitative / Business or other relevant degree) or equivalent business experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IT principles and system operation lifecycle and production support.
  • Sound statistical knowledge, analytical and problem-solving skills are desirable.
The following skills are required to be successful in performing this position:

Must have
  • Hands on experience on production support for the application that execute Model Analytics.
  • Experience on hands on support on JAVA full stack development, Python, tensor flow expertise, reactJS and ADO.
  • Sound statistical knowledge, analytical and problem-solving skills are desirable.
  • Knowledge of cache DB, vector DB.
  • A good understanding of Bank\xe2\x80\x99s production maintenance and Implementation policies.
  • Relevant experience on Big data technologies (Hortonworks HDP, Apache Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Sqoop, Flume, Zookeeper and HBase, Oozie, Spark, Ni-Fi, Kafka, Snap logic, AWS, Red shift).
  • Have experience with monitoring tools.
  • Good management and analytical skill.
  • Good writing and oral communication skills.
  • Good understanding of and experience in projects (e.g. SDLC, Agile methodology).
  • Performance Tuning of Apache Spark and Hadoop YARN.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to Hadoop team and Development Team.
  • Camunda, Angular.
  • Ability to debug and write / modify Shell script / Python.
  • Very good understanding of Big Data eco-system.
  • Candidate should also have good knowledge of Big Data architecture patterns, design patterns, estimation techniques, performance tuning and trouble shooting.
  • Willing to work on-call support over weekends.
  • Liaise with multiple application teams and co-ordinate for issue resolution.
  • Good analytical and interaction skills.
  • Continuous monitoring and managing the Hadoop cluster.
Nice to have
  • Hands on and Consulting skills on Workflow Framework.
  • Workflow Certification.
