Job Summary:
This is a senior role within the Enterprise Data & Analytics group at NetApp. As the Senior Platform Lead, you will have the opportunity to lead, participate, guide, and mentor other people in the team on architecture and design of our Data Platforms in a hands on manner. You will be responsible for the technical architecture and health of the ETL/Reporting platforms You will also get an opportunity to lead and contribute to key data architecture decisions across the Enterprise Data area.
Roles And Responsibilities
In This Role You Will

• Lead the design of architectural roadmaps, database, data access and data technologies
• Provide expertise on the overall data eco-system's engineering best practices, standards, architectural approaches and complex technical resolutions
• Review and drive architecture of data platforms to ensure resilience and performance
• Manage the platforms, pro-actively identifying performance bottlenecks and upgrade plans as needed
• Responsible for platforms health and stability
• Deep understanding of infrastructure design, server management, capacity planning and horizontal/vertical scaling based on workloads.
• Demonstrate proficiency in implementation of logical/physical data models
• Show good communication skills - both oral and written
• Coach and mentors team members.
• Effectively monitor and control costs in the organization

Job Requirements
To be successful, you will need:

• Experience with infrastructure design focusing on stability and high availability
• To have wide understanding of Databases , ETL and Reporting platforms
• Ability to manage a hybrid data architecture with On Prem and SaaS products
• Expertise in ETL and Reporting performance over large data volumes
• Experience in administration of Oracle, HANA, Snowflake and similar Cloud DW platforms
• Experience and ETL tools like Datastage
• Experience in cloud ETL products like Informatica IICS will be a plus
• Gathers and analyzes data and develops architectural requirements at project level.

Education
Requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience.
