Purpose: Lead and drive Manufacturing Excellence (Operations Excellence) at inhouse and external manufacturing plants. Position will be responsible for driving Manufacturing Excellence initiatives at the site which includes delivering OEE/productivity improvement, performance management and building core competencies & capabilities to deliver Best-In-Class performance in Make Organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving Operations Excellence Agenda – Lead Operational excellence initiatives of waste identification and elimination in all Mfg & non-Mfg processes. Lead agenda of bringing in cost flexibility of moving fixed costs structures to variable cost structures.
  • Deploy & sustain JJPS principles across top sites, identify and implement opportunities to improve competitiveness (cost, reliability, compliance) across the manufacturing network.
  • Identify & deliver on E2E improvements through JJOS initiatives.
  • Execute, lead, and deliver transformation activities at sites.
  • Work with IM & EM Make teams to identify, develop, and drive value creation initiatives.
  • Support E2E Performance Management process.
  • Support the delivery of lead time and inventory reduction targets.
  • Participate in achieving the E2E SC goals and objectives and be accountable for bringing value and delivering CIP's and annual targets.
  • Build Continuous Improvement capability within the teams: Lean, Six Sigma, Analytics, Design, etc.
  • Challenge business processes and confront areas where breakthrough improvement is required. • Coach, mentor and facilitate manufacturing teams assuring their efficiency and effectiveness is required.
  • Support JJPS Journey to improve OEE/Productivity through why – why analysis and RCPS
  • Support Manufacturing Core teams to identify OEE improvement opportunities and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Performance Management - Ensure Performance Tracking and on-time reporting for Make Organization.

Qualifications

Qualification:


  • Education: Engineering / Science background with a Post-graduation in Operations Management from premier B-Schools.
Preferred Lean/ Six sigma green belt. Experience in deploying digital initiatives at manufacturing site will be added advantage. 2. Experience: 5-8 years Manufacturing / Operational Excellence. 3.
