Site Name: India - Maharashtra - Nashik Site Posted Date: Jul 31 2023 Job Purpose The incumbent of the position is sitting member of Site Leadership Team and plays an active part in Planning/Production & Material scheduling, Warehousing and FP distribution activities, identifying and implementing Logistics strategies, managing the Core Commercial Cycle [CCC] and related processes from the planning of material management to production and final distribution. The role includes management of the storage and distribution of materials and products in accordance with GMP and GDP. Core (Logistics) activities Governance of Site Logistics activities, including CCC & SRM process, overall Warehouse operations management, including Engg. & Finished Goods Warehouse. Ensures the correct planning of production, warehouse operations and distribution activities, in compliance with Net Requirements & Demand forecasts. Taking into account the best use of production resources and stocks. Plans, co-ordinates and checks the supply of raw materials (active principles), taking into consideration cost targets, quality and the service level agreed. Drive Inventory optimization and meet Inventory related KPIs Ensures the correct development of production plans and the budget of the materials, in compliance with the commercial plans and market trends. Ensures the right management of information systems to support materials management from production, and warehouse. Monitoring & reporting of Site KPIs viz. CTP, OTIF, ATSP, Inventory Turns and Value (Shared) Ensure that the Logistics staffs is aligned with site and GMS objectives and the proper training and development activities are in place to enable the people to carry out their duties. Accountable for issue regarding resources management (e.g. travel expenses, overtime, contract etc.) in accordance with dedicated procedures and with HRD support. Elaborate the yearly functional budget based upon the forecast, Logistics performance in order to manage the Opex (Operational Expenditure) and Capex (Capital Expenditure) budgets within the site budget process. Ensure correct purchasing process and cost centre monitoring through dedicated procedures and reports. Define actions to mitigate Logistics issues at Site and monitor achievements through KPI & Performance management Collaboration and Project Management Liaison with various Government agencies, WHO and GSK India Central & regional teams in addition to all other functions within Site Adherence to guidelines/ Compliance Ensures that all activities are carried out in compliance with governance principles, including EHS and Quality/GMP norms, promoting the development of an ethical culture and people\'s competences in accordance with each role and group policies in order to ensure business sustainability To identify, escalate, manage and mitigate the risks with overall business perspective.
