Group Trucks Technology. India Position Description: Product Build (PB) is part of the Complete Vehicle Organization within GTT. Our job is to secure Physical Builds, Rigs, and handle Modification Requests (for the existing fleet of Trucks) in Product Development Phase. We strive to secure the parts needed for the builds from Proto Suppliers as well as Production Suppliers. We closely work with the GTT Engineering Community, GTP buyers, and GTO manufacturing and Logistics teams. Delivery Precision, Predictable Builds are our key drivers. The Position: Physical Build Project Manager (Entry) role with in GTT Complete Vehicle, Product Builds Bangalore aims to secure the build activities involving Parts Ordering, Logistics handling and Stocking of Parts in the internal GTT CV Warehouse in Hoskote. The primary focus is Parts Procurement, Logistics, and storage of parts for GTT Engineering activities. Knowledge of the Truck, spare parts, repair, and rework in the workshop premises with necessary Safety and Operational experience will be an added advantage. The Person should have knowledge of Material Management, Supplier Management, Cross functional working Exposure, Customs & Logistics exposure. An attitude of continuous learning and improvement, Stakeholder management, customer centricity will enable one to deliver best in this role. Roles and Responsibilities Working with Product build tools like Gloria, Protom, Power BI, and other warehouse applications is an added advantage. Support the Build activities involving Proto Parts, Production Parts for GTT Projects. Familiar with Warehouse / Workshop Safety Protocols, follow and implement in the daily routines. Ownership and accountability: Taking the lead to get the job done and accepting the responsibility for actions, costs, and results. Knowledge of Project Management Support process. Goods receipt, Parts stocking, Material handling, export / import routines with in GTT CV workshop/ warehouse. Release of daily schedules Maintain record / follow up based on priority of class of orders with attention to detail. Interact with and maintain sound relationships with various stakeholders within and outside involving GTX teams and Supplier/ Vendors. Drive prioritized improvement or development initiatives in the work environment. Be flexibility in supporting the Physical build activities for Global sites in different time zones. Qualification: University Degree in Engineering with up to 5 years of relevant work experience.
