The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis, Coordinate Development activities and be responsible for modules. When needed support production issues and other major initiative\'s. Be a active participant in architecture meetings and cascade the best practices from and to various teams.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage Broad experience in the PEGA rules-based architecture to configure/Develop and test applications functionality in process flow, UI screens, automated decisions, and prosperities
• Identifies reporting requirements to general business functionality, non-functionality needs and required data attributes for BPM specific workflows.
• Take ownership at module level and team level to come up with design, architecture and required artifacts for review with architecture board. Responsibly lead the team with utmost confidence and mentor team members as needed.
• Provide quality deliveries with low defects
• Solid experience with converting business into process flow, designing architecture on an Enterprise level and proficient in one or more project management tools
• Validates code for compliance of standards and Pega Guardrails.
• Oversees testing and debugging, identifies risks and undertakes steps to mitigate risks or defects.
• Collaborates across multiple Agile Release Trains providing expertise to cross-functional scrum teams and support to the Release Train Engineer.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team executing in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Confirms design mitigations are captured in the design and its documentation and verifies implementation.
• Ensures reliability and availability of Pega BRE and BPM Platform and works with cross-functional teams on capacity planning.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas
• Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users
• Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement
• Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality
• Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
• Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of relevant experience in Pega
• CSSA Certification with past experience of tech lead for delivery required. LSA Preferred. Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Preferred exp in Pega customer service and Smart Investigate frameworks
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Exposure to full life-cycle experience in large systems, preferably in the financial domain with an understanding financial business process and operation

Education:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
