Job Description


Summary Partner Success Manager plays a vital role at GE Grid Software by driving strategic relationships between GE Grid Software and its strategic engineering partners. The objective of this role is to ensure the smooth collaboration between internal and external teams, helping to maximize the value of these partnerships for the GE Grid Software products and services to boost visibility, lead generation, sales and revenue growth.



Roles and Responsibilities

  • Revenue generating & Business Development: Initiate and manage co-selling and referral programs with partners, to directly contribute to sales and revenue growth. Engineering Partner Program Director engages on joint marketing and sales strategies with partners. This can include co-branded marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and joint sales calls, to boost visibility, lead generation, and sales.
  • Collaboration and coordination: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between internal and external teams. This includes organizing meetings, workshops, and joint projects to ensure everyone is working towards common objectives.
  • Technical project management: The Engineering Partner Manager oversees joint engineering projects, ensuring that deliverables are met on time and within budget. Coordinates with both internal and partner teams, managing project schedules, resources, risks, and dependencies.
  • Partner Performance evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the performance of engineering partners, ensuring they meet the agreed-upon KPIs and other metrics. Provide feedback to partners and make recommendations for improvements or changes when necessary.
  • Issue resolution: The Engineering Partner Manager serves as the primary point of contact for resolving any technical issues or conflicts between the GE Grid Software and its partners. They work proactively to identify potential problems and develop solutions to address them.
  • Partner Enablement and Knowledge sharing: Encourage knowledge sharing between internal and partner teams, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. This may involve organizing training sessions, webinars, or workshops to keep all parties up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Reporting and documentation: Maintain accurate records of all partner-related activities and report regularly to senior management on the status of partnerships, project progress, and any challenges or opportunities.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional team, such as sales, marketing, and product management, to ensure that the GE Grid Software overall goals and objectives are aligned with partner collaborations.
  • To be successful in this role, an Partner Success Manager should have a strong technical background, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in project management and negotiation. The candidate must be adept in building and maintaining relationships, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications
  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Services & Digital Program Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master\'s degree from an accredited university or college
