Roles & Responsibilities:

Sub: for Packaging Engineer

• Mechanical Engineer degree with 6 to 9 years of experience in Oil & Gas/Power Generation domain.
• Good understanding of API & ASME codes & Industry standards frequently used in the petroleum and petrochemical industries that are related to major purchased auxiliaries (motors, gears, couplings, etc...)
• Expert in reading & understanding of Statement of Work (SOW), P & ID & Drawings
• Customer products knowledge like Turbine, Compressor, Expanders & its accessories.
• Knowledge of Creation, Purchase requisition & work order release process.
• Experience in Engineering Change control process & disposition of Non-conformance
• Review, revision, and submittal of vendor design specification information to the project team ensuring that these documents/drawings meet the scope of supply dictated by the customers PO.
• Review and analysis of customer specifications
• Knowledge of oil system calculation sheet & Document controller
• Keeping the Project Team and Supervisor of Project Engineering properly informed of the project status in a timely and accurate manner of issues regarding any assigned project or project components.
• Ready to own the project & its deliverables.
• Ability to interact with cross functional team for required clarification & inputs.
• Ability to interact with vendors for technical information & clarification.
• Understanding of project life cycle, ISO & quality standards
• Excellent communication skills in English & inter-personal skills.
• Exposure to Microsoft operating systems, office & project management tools
