Job Position: Operations Manager- Ecommerce

Role overview:

An Ecommerce Operations Manager ensures smooth online retail processes by overseeing logistics, inventory management, customer experience, and data analysis. A great candidate has a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms and technology, strong leadership skills, and a knack for problem-solving. They should be able to streamline workflows, optimize inventory, and maintain customer satisfaction, while also keeping up with industry trends and competition.

Job Details:

As an Ecommerce Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an online retail business. You will be in charge of managing inventory, customer service, order fulfilment, and shipping logistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecommerce, with a focus on operational efficiency. You should be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively with other teams to ensure the success of the business. Responsibilities:

• Leading the Operations and Supply chain teams including customer service team of the organization.
• Reviewing and improving organizational effectiveness by developing processes.
• Developing strategic plan for optimized productivity
• Overseeing day-to-day operations, assign weekly performance goals and ensure their completion and accomplish your own goals
• Recruiting, on boarding, and training high-performing employees in his dept.
• Maintaining project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining budgetary and resource allocation plans
• Delegate responsibilities to the best-qualified employees and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient e-commerce operations, including inventory management, logistics, and customer support.

• Analyse and report on e-commerce performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.

• Led and mentor e-commerce team members to develop their skills and achieve company goals.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to e-commerce operations.

Requirements:

• 8-10 years in e-commerce operations

• Proven experience in inventory management

• Expertise in logistics and fulfilment

• Strong vendor management skills

• Experience with e-commerce platforms

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities

• Knowledge of customer service best practices

• Ability to analyse data and create reports

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Keen attention to detail and organizational prowess
