: Operations Executive - Transportation and Logistics Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Executive to join our dynamic team at Anand Cargos And Freightage Solutions LLP, a prominent transportation and logistics company operating in South India. The Operations Executive will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations by efficiently managing truck placements, communication with clients, truck drivers, and owners, and overseeing the progress of consignments. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess strong communication skills to independently handle client and driver interactions. Responsibilities: - Strategically match available trucks with suitable loads and factories while optimizing routes to enhance efficiency and reduce transit times. - Act as a primary point of contact, promptly attending to phone calls from clients, truck drivers, and truck owners, addressing their queries and concerns professionally and efficiently. - Regularly follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of consignments. Verify if trucks were loaded and unloaded on time and confirm the completion of balance payments. - Maintain accurate records of consignment progress, payments, and other relevant details, ensuring that data is updated in the company\'s systems. - Collaborate with the operations team to resolve any unforeseen challenges during transit, such as delays, route changes, or other operational issues. - Independently handle client interactions, providing excellent customer service by addressing their needs, clarifying doubts, and building positive relationships. - Effectively communicate with truck drivers, providing them with necessary details, directions, and instructions to ensure the successful completion of assignments. - Monitor and manage any arising issues or disputes related to consignments, payments, or services, escalating matters as required for timely resolution. - Assist in developing and implementing operational strategies that enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall customer satisfaction. Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in transportation and logistics operations. - Proficiency in using communication tools such as WhatsApp for sending messages, tracking, and coordinating. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact confidently with clients, truck drivers, and team members. - Ability to work independently and make informed decisions, ensuring smooth operations even in challenging situations. - Fluency in Telugu is an added advantage, allowing effective communication with local stakeholders. - High level of attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation. - Problem-solving mindset and the capacity to adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment. - Basic skills of messaging on WhatsApp and e-mail.
