Department overview:
CDS Reference Data supports the credit derivatives, bonds, securitised instruments, syndicated loan and legal entity data needs of the financial markets servicing internal as well as external clients. Our broad range of data is specifically designed to facilitate securities trading, settlement, risk management and back-office functions, including accounting and client reporting.
Position summary
The successful candidate will perform a dual function: play a key part in maintaining the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of legal entity reference data offering, as well as supporting the queries and requests of our internal and external clients . The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues in Noida, Dallas and London
Duties & accountabilities
Operational maintenance of Data product. Ranging from setting up new legal entity, extracting instrument static, managing entity level and fixed income level corporate actions.
Identify data quality improvement projects, and good design practices
Identification of opportunities to enhance operational efficiency
Basic user acceptance testing for new or enhanced product functionality
Intermediate Excel and SQL Skills
Ability to gather data efficiently from various sources for reporting and analysis
Proven ability to utilize data and systems tools available
Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
Proven ability to collaborate to produce results; work well in team situations
Flexibility of hours may be needed at times to meet corporate demand
Business competencies
Education and experience

Graduate degree or equivalent in ideally Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science.
It is advantageous but not mandatory that the candidate has a good
understanding of fixed income securities like bonds and CDS.

Commercial awareness
Have an excellent client service ethos and be able to communicate effectively
Must have a strong interest in finance and also be up to date with current global financial market news.
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
