Hotel Industry Experience is preferred . Ensure that Receiving Office is notified whenever the supplier comes or the item arrives. Ensure that the Safety & Security Screening Procedures are strictly practiced on out-going staff: bag searched, brisk etc. To log on all details of visitors, suppliers or contractors in visitor Logbook for Safety & Security reference reason. Unlock the Garbage Room for the Public Works Company\xe2\x80\x99s Staff to clear rubbish, waste etc. Watch their work and check in order to discover any property hidden in the bins. In case of emergency, allow no access into the building from outside. Clear obstacles near the checkpoints that may prevent staff and clients from escaping from the building. This position requires an intermediate level to deal with in-house guests and tenants as well as foreigners coming to the hotel to seek information of accommodation. Provide access to / allow the Law Enforcement Agencies\xe2\x80\x99 Staff to approach the building whenever necessary. Allow no motorbikes to park frequently on the main porch, in front of the gate. Report in writing to the on-duty Safety & Security Supervisors about any suspected criminal activities near the front gate while one duty and especially on night shifts. Strictly control the entrance area whenever guests check in or check out. Pay attention to their luggage and do not let strangers go near with bad intention. The officer on duty at the front gate is not allowed to ask in-house guests or visitors for tip. He is also not allowed to receive commission/money from taxi drivers.
