Hiring for reputed Hotel Experience minimum 5 to 8 years . Food and accommodation provided Location : Coimbatore of Assistant Security Manager

• To organize his department in such a manner as to fulfil the requirements for security as set forth by management, and to advise management on security matters.
• To assist the Human Resources department in security proper employees to fill position in the security department or in the event a personnel department does not exist, to hire the most qualified persons possible to fill the available positions. To train or provide for training of all security personnel in the following areas of responsibility:
• \xc2\xb7 All hotel regulations and all factors affecting the operations of the hotel as they apply to the hotel have stated policy.
• \xc2\xb7 Unarmed defense techniques
• \xc2\xb7 Fire prevention and safety techniques
• \xc2\xb7 Basic fire training
• \xc2\xb7 First aid
• \xc2\xb7 Swimming and life-saving, if a pool or other water hazards is part of the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s facilities
• Preservation of crime scene and evidence
• Action duties and powers where crime is detected
• Actions in crisis situation
• Report compilation
• To supervise all activities of security staff to ensure compliance with and proper application of department regulation and hotel policy.
• To maintain liaison with local law enforcement agencies and other public safety departments.
• To maintain adequate and complete records of all activities of the security department.
• To review policies, procedures and instructions on a regular bases to ensure maintenance of the highest level of efficiency and the best possible security, to make recommendations to management when policy changes are required, and to evaluate on a continuing basis the possibilities of security.
• To instruct all employees in their responsibilities as they apply to security and safety, and to test regularly not only the systems but also the personnel involved in implementing the systems to ensure their proper application and response.
• To install in management and employees a feeling of confidence in the security department.
• Last but not least, to ensure the safety of all the persons and the property within the premises by fairly applying hotel regulations, strict adherence to existing laws, statutes and applicable ordinance, and by anticipating possible and probable hazards and conditions and either correcting them or per-planning a defence against them.
• This is a lot to ask of any person, and the some it may seem an impossible task, so here comes the security consciousness among the entire staff. As we know that we are asking too much from the Security Manager which he cannot do all alone. Every employee should be security conscious. Without all of these extra eyes, the Security Manager\xe2\x80\x99s job will never be accomplished properly. This applies not only to guest activities, but also to employee actions. The Security Manager must develop a \xe2\x80\x9cGrapevine\xe2\x80\x9d so that information is fed to him. This information should be treated in a confidential manner and the informant should be protected. The employees must trust the Security Manager and they must know that he will not violate that trust. When an employee has performed in such a manner as the warrant special appreciation and thanks, he should receive credit and public thanks, and possibly an appropriate reward, once employees find that honesty pays and is appreciate, it becomes more difficult for them to steal.
• The hotel Security Manager must possess qualities as that of a part lawyer, paramedic, clergyman, policeman, investigator, administrator, planner, salesman, judge and jury.
