The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing sales and distribution of pharmaceutical products within their assigned area.
The day-to-day tasks may include developing sales strategies, managing sales teams, achieving sales targets, and building relationships with healthcare professionals.
Building a strong pipeline and ensuring accurate sales forecasting and account planning.
Coordinating with other teams to ensure smooth delivery of products & services.
Preparing regular reports and participating in regular meetings to review performance.
Arranging appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments
Presentations may take place in medical settings during the day, or may be conducted in the evenings at a local hotel or conference venue;
Establish plans like the Field Coverage Plan, Sales and Prescription Reporting Plans, Sales Incentive Plan etc. ,
Analyzing market trends and competitors activities and formulating strategies to respond to these.
Prior experience in Oncology/Cancer, Pulmonology, or HIV drugs sales is a plus
