Job Description

:

- Engaging with business stakeholders and understanding the gaps in current procurement process and enabling strategic sourcing

- Identifying Cost reduction opportunities from procurement perspective

- Identifying areas of improvement in Procure to pay process and execution of improvement projects including IT solutions

- Assisting business in Category Management approach and thus enabling Strategic Sourcing

- Working with internal business team, IT team and external business stakeholders to provide procurement solution as per the requirement

- Leading team of business analyst, IT consultants and other stakeholders for building procurement process solutions

- Business process re-engineering & cost reduction through Strategic Sourcing

- Inhouse Management Consultant for procurement process improvement & Strategic sourcing

- Providing valuable insights to business stakeholders as a procurement consultant and lead business teams to provide effective procurement and strategic sourcing solutions

Profile Description:

- Postgraduates from any Tier-1 schools with at least 8+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing etc., preferably from top consulting firms/Big-4 and manufacturing domain expertise

- 4-6 years of relevant experience in process improvement and cost reduction via effective sourcing strategies, preferably in the strategic sourcing, procure-to-pay process

- Strong experience in Category Management and procurement of products and services

- Must have handled multiple strategic sourcing and procure to pay process improvement projects

- Experience in S2P/PTP ERP systems like SAP MM, Ariba etc

- Experience in Agriculture commodities/food industry is a big plus

- Being abreast of latest procurement industry trends, ability to adapt and network across a global organization to work with a diverse team

- Excellent communication and comprehension skills, leadership skills, analytical and logical, ability to deal with customers/stakeholders directly
