Designation: Networking and IT Specialist (Hospitality Industry)Qualification: Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, or related field.Experience:? 3-5 YearsJob Location: Remote Working.Responsibilities:??

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure tailored to the needs of the hospitality industry.
• Administer and support system operating systems and software applications, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Install, configure, and maintain security camera systems throughout the property, ensuring coverage and functionality.
• Manage telephone EPBX systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and integration with other systems.
• Set up and maintain hardware devices such as servers, workstations, printers, and projectors, ensuring compatibility and reliability.
• Develop and maintain APIs to facilitate integration between various systems and applications used in the hospitality environment.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to hotel staff for IT-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure IT equipment, software licenses, and support services as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the hospitality industry, recommending innovative solutions to improve efficiency and guest experience.
• Document network configurations, system setups, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Key Skills: \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven expertise in networking principles, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs ,etc.).

• Strong understanding of system OS (Windows, Linux) and proficiency in software installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Experience with security camera systems setup and management, including knowledge of IP cameras and DVR/NVR systems.
• Familiarity with telephone EPBX systems and configurations, preferably in a hospitality setting.
• Proficiency in hardware setup and maintenance, including printers, projectors, servers, and workstations.
• Ability to develop and maintain APIs using scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) or other relevant technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve IT issues promptly.
• Solid organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Certification in relevant technologies (Cisco, Microsoft, etc.) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with Zoho applications is highly desirable.
