POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Network and Telecommunications, the Network Analyst III oversees and provides the support for design, and implementation, and enhancements to the global network infrastructure. This position supports the functions which contribute to the continued operation of Information Technologies (IT) department including network design support with the architects, hardware deployment, network security, remote facility deployment and maintenance, carrier support, capacity planning support, performance monitoring, and reporting. The Network Analyst will collaborate with project management, other IT production support teams and business end users to ensure effective and accurate implementation of networking and telecommunication standards during the development lifecycle.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Supports architects, with implementations, and configuration support for all enterprise network systems globally for Patient Direct and O&M
  • Participate in integration of the local and wide area networks, including the development, testing and implementation, for the field and corporate.
  • Participates in strategic initiatives by performing technical project activities.
  • Participates in the creation of standards for writing and documenting projects and network configurations.
  • Performs all job-related responsibilities with minimal management direction and guidance.
  • Responsible for EIGRP, OSPF and BGP routing protocols as well as traffic shaping and prioritization.
  • Administration and support of all routing and switching platforms within the enterprise data centers and branch locations.
  • Monitor and track network performance to ensure WAN/LAN and Wireless network capacity is aligned line with business requirements.
  • Support best practices to ensure network security is maintained across the enterprise and develop action plans to identify and address malicious activity at the edge and across the internal network.
  • Participate in the development of remediation strategies to address security deficiencies identified during regular audit and penetration testing.
  • Create and maintain network documentation including technical drawings and SOPs.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions and make recommendations to management.
  • Performs other duties as required.
SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Performs additional duties as directed.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 8+ years experience in supporting a large multi-platform local and wide area network environment.
  • Strong experience in network technologies; Cisco Network, MPLS, Broadband, VPN. SDWan, Load Balancers
  • Experience in developing and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery practices.
  • Experience in Cisco Unified Communications, LAN/WAN acceleration, and remote office implementation.
  • Experience with MS Project, Word, Excel, Network Monitoring Tools
  • Operations experience with enterprise/carrier class routers and switches and next generation firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint)
  • Advanced experience with BGP, EIGRP, OSPF routing protocols
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to travel up to 10%; may include international travel.
