Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Network Service Specialist, you will be placed at customer location (Delhi or Gurgaon) and will have to demonstrate expertise in one or more networking technology domain area with willingness to work in any shift . You will also be involved in deploying, configuring, troubleshooting and operational maintenance of large-scale LAN/WAN networks comprising of Heterogeneous OEMs(Cisco / HP/ Aruba) .
You are expected to work on Networking products or solutions based on any vendor hardware /vendor operating system software ( ie Vendor agnostic) with no support from superiors.
E.g. include: Proficient Skills on Routers (Cisco ISR/ASR & Juniper(MX/SRX Platform) /Switches(Cisco/Juniper )/ Load balancers( Redware/F5).
Typical examples of the other deliverables would be of deploying, managing, and implementing networking solutions to address client business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all handling overall Network BAU and operational task to meet network deliverables.
• Responsible for maintaining Network Documentation using Visio Tools, MS-Power Point
• Responsible for providing Service improvement plans to customer to enhance their business productivity.
• Handle and successfully close all Sev1/Sev2 network incidents within agreed SLA levels by providing RCA
• Responsible for coordination with OEM for any TAC assistance during the BAU troubleshooting .
• Performing troubleshooting of system failures and identify bottlenecks to ensure long term efficiency of network
• Applying agreed health check on network devices including patch updates and upgrades

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT Network infrastructure Domain with proven experience in Network Operations Experience with TCP/IP, networking, and DNS, SMTP,
• In-depth experience in configuring and managing Cisco Data Center Switches (5K,7K ,9k )
• Experience in configuring and managing firewalls (Sonic Wall / or Paolo Alto firewall or Fortinet).
• Experience in configuring site to Site VPN /Remote VPN on firewall .
• Proficient experience in Routing and Switching concept ( Cisco/ Juniper Platform)
• Working knowledge in Load balancers technology (Redware or Any OEM Citrix /F5).
• Ability to produce RCA of Severity incidents impacting network with minimum support
• Hands on experience - Hardware Module, Installation, Configuration, Troubleshooting for the following listed Routers and Switches
• Routers: Cisco ISR/ASR series routers ,
• Switches: Nexus 9K ,7K and HP/Aruba 5000 series
• Firewalls: Sonic Wall , Palo Alto Firewalls /Fortinet Firewalls /Cisco FTD.
• Working knowledge in SDWAN.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Basic knowledge and working experience of working on Spine / Leaf fabric using VXLAN ,EVPN ( Vendor Agnostic)
• Exposure of SDN technologies ( NSX-V / NSX-T ,Cisco ACI )
• Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. CCNA/CCNP Certified
