Roles and Responsibility


Working knowledge of large-scale LAN/WAN switching and routing implementation and operation in Global Data Center environment and Branch offices.
Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
Understanding of Enterprise level of Network Operations. Continuously analyze platform behavior and give recommendation for improvements.
Monitoring of Enterprise Networks of Large Global clients that have a distributed LAN, WAN and Firewall setup.
Working knowledge of enterprise computing environments, distributed applications, and understanding of TCP/IP networks to include Cisco ASA, Palo Alto firewalls, and Cisco, Juniper, Avaya/Nortel routers and switches.
Strong knowledge of network architecture and protocols.
Perform Level 1 and Level 2 support for in-scope Network devices.
Experience on installing, managing, and supporting production network and computer security systems comprised of multiple network hardware and software.
Understanding of Cisco catalyst switches, Cisco routers, ASR routers, Cisco Nexus 5K/7k switches, firewalls (ASA, Checkpoint, Palo Alto), Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, WLAN.
Understanding of Interior Gateway Routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, EIGRP), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) configuration, BGP peering, BGP route advertisements, prefix-lists, and route-maps, SSH and SNMP protocols.
High level understanding of multi-tiered application traffic flow, server load balancing, global load balancing, and routing
Working knowledge of network management tools and packet captures to resolve operational issues.
Understanding of Microfocus modules good to have.
Communicates and coordinates network/security maintenance and schedules.
Maintain complete technical documentation.
Continuous improvement and optimization of network performance, stability, and availability
Provide real-time reports which included device inventories and compliance status.
Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Splunk, Visio, Dynatrace)
Basic Systems Administrator-level knowledge of Windows/Linux/UNIX operating systems.
Ability to support working outside of normal business hours or rotational-shifts to provide after hours or "on-call" support when necessary to solve high profile issues or complete critical path projects.
Flexible person with the ability to manage stressful situations and adapt to rapidly changing environments and requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with business and technical IT teams.
Certifications in CCNA, CCNP Routing and Switching Preferred
