We are looking for an Operations Engineer- Senior Administrator to expand our Technical Operations - Datacenter team, which is responsible for the support and maintenance of our infrastructure and hardware serving our SAAS Platform in 12 global co-located datacenters. This position will help RichRelevance, an Algonomy company, to scale to utilize the petabytes of data the retailers bring into our systems, all while increasing efficiency, speed of delivery, and reliability at every level of service.
This position requires 2-3 years’ experience as a Systems Engineer - Network in Tech Ops Networking.
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and capabilities:

• BS in CS or Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
• Must have strong networking skills & experience. Ability to diagnose & troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues, understanding of routing, working with 3rd party vendors when required.
• Firewall administration. Configure new Firewalls, set up VPN’s, manage policies & ensure security.
• 1-3 years production Linux administration, build and deploy (RHEL/centOS)
• Scripting utilizing BASH, Perl, Python, or Ruby (a plus)
• Self-starter and fast-learner
• Knowledge of Kafka a plus

• Support a global co-located datacenter presence in 12 data centers worldwide
• Manage and monitor our Dell networking infrastructure. Configure and install new switches, set up vlans and maintain security.
• Firewall administration (Juniper experience a plus), extensive meshed VPN’s, Vlans with secured large data transfers
• Manage and administer our internal and external IP space and DNS.
• Assist in rack/install new hardware at data centers. PXE, puppet, and configure new systems.
• Monitoring and administration of large, distributed network infrastructure (DataDog a plus)
• System updates and maintenance, software/hardware, asset inventory
• Available for 24/7 on call for emergencies.
