Skills required to contribute:
5+ years MS SQL Server Administration experience required Database administration activities like Installation, Configuration, Backup & Recovery, and Database Security. Monitor system's health and performance. Move Databases from one drive to another including system, user db’s. Resolve drive full issues. Applying Service packs, cumulative updates and hot fixes on SQL Servers.
Creating SQL Logins, Assigning Roles to the users and Authentication Modes as part of Security Policies for various categories of users. Experience in resolved Application slowness issues and Performance Tuning. Resolve slow running stored procedures and views. Regularly monitor and identify blocking issues. Check the fragmentation and rebuild/ reorganize the indexes. Automation skills. Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
