SQL DB Architect Required Skills and JD (onsite/offshore):

• 
  A strong SQL DB track record and expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL server including SQL 2005/2008/2012/2016/2019
• 
  Should have knowledge on Microsoft architecture as well to understand MSO
• 
  Design databases to for business solutions, scalability, security, compliance, performance and reliability.
• 
  Lead data tier architecture and design processes, participate in system and application architecture
• 
  Help with performance tuning and help with database development of performance-critical code
• 
  Development of automated database maintenance utilities
• 
  Ability to write SQL scripts, procedures, functions
• 
  Develop methods for integrating different products so they work properly together to fit specifications.
• 
  Demonstrate database technical functionality, such as performance tuning, backup and recovery, monitoring.
• 
  Excellent skills with advanced features such as database encryption, replication, partitioning, etc.
• 
  Collaborate with development and business teams
• 
  Strong problem solving, Analytical and communication skill
• 
  Be responsible for meeting various SLAs for multiple database platforms used in the company
• 
  Troubleshoot and address various issues in the systems
• 
  Willingness and commitment to learn other database, automation and Cloud technologies
• 
  Experience in Agile development methodology & Agile development tools
• 
  Ability to perform system monitoring and address various issues in the system
• 
  Strong communication and capable of working with client, vendors and complex team independently
