Key missions of the position

• New product development.
• Facility creation for New projects and process improvements in existing Projects.
• On time completion of Industrial set up along with FAI / validation approval.

Responsibilities:

• Successful transfer of new processes and products into Company up to commercial implementation and handover to the production team with respect to QCD benefits
• Responsible for process establishment for new products in paint shop process and paint validation.
• Convening the Technology Transfer interdisciplinary groups (Special process specialist), assigning and coordinating the tasks related to the introduction of new processes/projects within the site.
• The execution of the technology transfer Projects according to the Centre of Competency (CoC) recommendations and relevant regulatory requirements in local site.
• Continually interact with internal and external customer to have good understanding of project R & O. Develop plans to minimize risks, actively build and manage opportunities to improve project profitability & additional commercial opportunities
• Evaluate the technical decision on development of Test bench, Critical equipment's and tooling's with respect to CoC's recommendation.
• The generation and maintenance of key documentation (PFD, PFMEA And WI) with the support of the CFT Team.
• Establishment of new facility equipment's and proving the process
• Depth knowledge on Paint shop, machine shop and assembly shop
• Establishment of process for new products and make it's corresponding documents like process data sheet (PDS), operation data sheet (ODS), Assembly instructions sheet (AIS) etc.,
• Implementation of TOT (Transfer of Technology) projects from our SISCO and gets approval from customer.
• Preparation of assembly cell layout and plant layout.
• To respond the QRQC issues in SFU

• Budgetary Control for Capital Investment for project and existing products.
• Preparing of Return on Investment (ROI) for each capital investments to make justification to Top Management.
• Preparation of Make/Buy with sourcing team for new projects and existing products.
• Preparation of PFMEA and control plan for new products
• As a project core team member (CTM), you will work seamlessly with other CTM's from various functions assigned to the project under the leadership of your project manager.
• You will discharge your duties in a very efficient manner such that all the Project milestones are achieved, Contract Margin is respected and the QCD parameters are met, if not exceeded.
• You must demonstrate agility such that the Projects are executed in a manner that will ensure repeat orders from the same Customer.
• Handling Riveting Special process
• The Process owner has the authority to instruct and make decisions independent from production.

Education : Engineering

Experience : 10+ years

Languages : Tamil, English
