Manufacturing Unit Manager

You will be working as Manufacturing Unit Manager role reporting to Manufacturing Unit Manager and will be part of Motion- IEC LV Motors division Business Area based in Bangalore, India. Manage all aspects related to operations of a local manufacturing unit including the full scope of Production, Engineering, Procurement, Quality & Operational Excellence and Logistics.

Your responsibilities

• Implementing the global business unit/product group manufacturing strategy in the country within the area of responsibility.
• Providing input to global business unit/product group strategy.
• Developing proactive strategies to increase business profits, customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
• Leading and managing manufacturing function and operation teams and processes.
• Implements localization plan.
• Improving manufacturing technology and competence in line with business unit/product group strategy.
• Quality & Operational Excellence executing business unit/product group Quality strategy.
• Delivering operational/project targets (e.g. ROTD, lead time, quality, etc.) to improve net promoter score (NPS).
• Ensuring that manufacturing resources implement improvements that address issues identified through customer complaint resolution process (CCRP), Internal Transactional Partnership Survey (ITPS), Top 5 Quality Initiatives (T5QI) and other voice of the customer initiatives.

Your background

• BE/ B tech in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with 20 to 25 years' experience in Manufacturing of Rotatory Machines.
